The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
3 User Data and Content
a. Local Storage
All data you enter into the App (book collections, reading progress, wishlist items, preferences) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device data.
b. Data Loss
We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from:
- Device loss, damage, or failure
- Uninstalling the App
- Operating system updates or resets
- Any other circumstances beyond our control
4 Third-Party Services
The App uses the Google Books API to provide book search and metadata functionality. By using these features, you also agree to:

5 Intellectual Property
a. App Content
The App, including its design, graphics, user interface, and code, is owned by Chaptered and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.
b. Book Content
Book covers, titles, descriptions, and other metadata displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners (authors, publishers, etc.) and are provided through third-party APIs for informational purposes only.
6 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
- Misuse or abuse the third-party API integrations
7 Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
